I am Krishna Anujan, PhD, an ecologist, communicator and NatGeo Explorer. My goal is to improve basic understanding of tropical tree community dynamics in an equitable and just manner. I try to notice keenly and think deeply.
Currently, I am a STRI Postdoctoral Fellow with ForestGEO at the Quantitave Forest Ecology Lab at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. Previously, I was a Smithsonian Institution Postdoctoral Fellowadvised at the ForestGEO Ecosystems and Climate Lab. I completed my PhD, advised by Shahid Naeem at the Department of Ecology Evolution and Environmental Biology, Columbia University.
